CM:FP 2023, June 26-30 2023, Niš * CAM-FMEN and NTP Niš *
We are pleased to announce a social accompanied event to an international multi-continental scientific conference CM:FP 2023, the exhibition titled Dialogue with AI. The Opening ceremony will be on 27 June 2023 at the Science Technology Park, Niš, ground floor starting at 18h30min. The organizers of CM:FP 2023 are very thankful to the author of the exhibition, Professor Vladimir Pavlović, Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade.
The exhibition is dedicated to the founder and the first editor of the journal Science of Sintering, academician Momcilo M Ristić
In his novel The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Douglas Adams invented a concept known as the Somebody Else's Problem field. This “field” renders an object (tangible or not) invisible by relying on our inherently self-centered nature and natural predisposition to not see anything we don’t want to see, anything we don't expect to see, or anything we cannot explain. The aim of this exhibition is to confront this omnipresent field and establish a dialogue with AI in the fields of science, graphic design, and AI technologies. In order to check our intellectual blind spots in those fields professor Vladimir Pavlovic from the University of Belgrade interacted with and consulted various AI tools and created a set of graphics based on cover designs of the peer review journal Science of Sintering. An integral part of the exhibition is the communication between the author and ChatGPT regarding the use of AI in the science of sintering and graphic design.
The exhibition is a result of the University Partnership Program (FY2021} between the University of Belgrade and North Carolina Central University (NCCU) and is financed by the U.S. Department of State, U.S. Embassy Belgrade, Serbia.
